Jill + Cameron - 'Home' - A Hampton Wedding

Minutes into the reception at the Southampton Inn, a hush came over the crowd when
Cam and Jill picked up the microphones.
The room was expecting a quick speech and their first dance I think.
I was privy though to the big secret.

I watched the confusion on the faces around me change into large grins as the band was cued up and Jill and Cam began to serenade each other with the fun, happy rendition of the song 'Home.'

Within minutes the guests were up on their feet clapping to the rhythm of the drums.
The whistling from the band members keeping time
made you feel happiness right down to your toes that were tapping along.
You couldn't help but have a cheesy grin from ear to ear just watching.

***

They're the epitome of sweetness and class.
They're refined, elegant, happy and major Met fanatics.

Don't believe me?
They named their pup 'Shea' and had the Met's colors (orange and blue) incorporated through out their day.
And even though I'm a Yankees fan...I was actually pretty excited cause the colors looked amazing together!

Speaking of amazing together, they are just that!
I adore them.
Take a look below, you'll see just what I mean.

***

The bouquet was fabulously put together by East Hampton Florist.
I was super impressed that it was hand delivered by the owner with so much happiness and enthusiasm.

Jill had the idea of adding her Grandparents wedding rings.
So sentimental!

The preparation begins...

I love the idea of notes or cards to build upon the anticipation...

Before &  After

Jill, you're stunning!

I wonder what Daddy's think when they see their little girl as a bride?
It's the beginning and an end of an era.

                                                                            Different, right?
I kinda like it...has a little ring to it. ; )

Cameron is the big brother to two younger boys.
They were both so incredibly sweet, just like him.
Below is the younger of the two who was the ring bearer.
Love the bow tie, don't you?

There is something about images of hands that I love.
I'm not sure what it is.
Maybe it's the history behind them?
Especially our parents hands I think.
They are the ones that held us, kept us safe,
patted our back's and dried our eyes.

Cam's first peek at his bride...

Sooo...Jill and Cam had custom M & M's as their favor's.
It was freakin' fabulous!!
It was the first time that I actually debated gobbling up my subject. ; )

Clearly he was happy that Jill is now family!

This is my favorite part of the ceremonies.
The elation of being announced as husband and wife.
There is no better feeling then walking down that aisle after all is said and done...
knowing you have a best friend for life.

and a fabulous sister-in-law for life...

This is one of my faves...

'Something blue...'

 Smashing and Dashing

Another thing that was different about their big day was the traditional
daughter/dad dance and the mom/groom dance.
They combined the two!

I have noooo idea...

haha...antlers

During dinner Jill and Cam asked me to join them for a few quick pictures outside - xo!
For some reason, these look a little European to me. I think it might be the stucco wall.

We lost the light in the matter of minutes but caught this right before heading back inside.
I said it before on their engagement session post...
there is something that is so old Hollywood about them. They have such a glamorous side, that I love.
So the image on the right is a little dark and moody, but I liked it anyway.

I think it's safe to say Cam was surprised how lucky in love he really got.

So I wanted to start a new tradition here on the blog.
I want to 'show and tell' my top five parts of each wedding!

Favorite part:
It would have to be their song.

Coolest part:
Ice cream sandwiches for the guests. Seriously, how cool is that?

Sentimental Part:
Oddly enough it was shortly after the cake...smashing!
They were in their own little world helping each other take the cake off with napkins,
and for some reason I got all emotional.

Unique part:
Instead of tossing the bouquet, they gave it to the couple that were married the longest.
I believe it was 61 loving years!

Funniest Part:
During their own vows, Jill commented on taking the last name 'Bowcock'.
It warranted quite a chuckle!

Jill and Cam, I can not thank you enough for letting me be a part of your fabulous day.
I loved every minute of it.
There were so many fun factors and your wonderful dispositions were so delightful...
I almost didn't notice the weather!

It was so awesome that on the hottest day of the year, with the temp. reaching almost 105,
there was not one complaint from either of your lips.
That is living and enjoying life fully!

Just one more thank you before I go for taking your precious morning of sleep the day after and spending it with me instead.
You are one hell of a couple!

I can't wait to share those pictures next week from the sunrise session at the infamous
Cooper's Beach in the Hampton's. Stay tuned in everyone for those!

Until then...here is a quick 'sneak peek'.
Oh. And I hired that bird. To sit. Right. There. For this one. ; )
Super happy your shadow's decided to tag-a-long too!

Jill and Cam are different.
I can't really explain it.
It's kinda the same feeling you get when seeing Bogart and Bacall on the big screen.
They just go together.

I'm pretty certain they got it right when they sang to each other..."home is where ever you are."

Welcome home Mr. & Mrs. Bowcock...to the first day of the rest of your lives!

Home really does look sweet....

Before you go...leave your thoughts below!

These kids look like they really do belong together. Wondering how to find the pictures you talk about in the teaser. Good job hiring that bird.
